Meet our new Learning Lead, Emma Jackson

Who are you?

I’m an avid volunteer, scientist and roller derby player. I love to travel and push myself out of my comfort zone.

What are you working on?

As Learning Lead, I will be working to create new and inspiring learning opportunities for Pollinators members and the community. From short lunchtime learnings to larger scale programs, it’s all going to be happening at Pollinators!

Who do you collaborate with?

Working with members, community groups, local organisations and institutions, I will be drawing on the on the vast Pollinators network to build learning programs that reflect the needs of Pollinators members and the Mid West Community. So if you have an idea or learning need, hit me up!

Is there an innovation you’re loving right now?

The use of recycled materials and social enterprises in the clothing and apparel industry. From bathers and active wear made from plastic bottles, to high-end fashion made from re-purposed fire hoses. Just loving it!

Is there a time when you are most creative?

The creativity flows best over a few beers …. Looking forward to some creative networking events!

Pollinators exists to nurture people and innovations that enable healthy, resilient communities. Our services, programs and events deliver outcomes for the individuals, their ventures, and our wider community, ensuring we are all #winning.
