Psychometric Sundowner

Psychometric instruments are used widely across organisations, especially as part of coaching and leadership development programs. They are also commonly used by athletes and entrepreneurs to aid professional and personal development. AHRI and Pollinators have brought together a panel of local experts who utilise psychometric tests, to provide an overview of different tools and their benefits. After initial presentations from the panel, there will be a Q&A session, followed by a short facilitated discussion on recruitment, selection and development. There will be lots of opportunity to network with other professionals, people managers and business owners, plus the speakers and gain an insight into the current world of recruitment and development in the Midwest.

Agenda:

  • 5:00pm — AHRI network meeting (to deal with formalities with their members) / Drinks food and networking (for Pollinators members)
  • 5:30pm — Welcome and introductions
  • 5:45pm — Short presentations from guests, sharing psychometric tools they use, benefits, insights and tips with Q&A
  • 6:15pm — Audience Q&A and facilitated discussion
  • 6:45pm — Closing comments

They view the community as the solution, not the passive beneficiary. They begin with the assumption of competence and unleash resources in the communities they’re serving.” (http://wildpollinators.org 2012) This quote really resonated with me, as […]
