What is your venture?
Western Aerial Mapping is a rural drone service company. We have developed a drone software system which identifies weeds from drone images. The system allows farmers to minimise their herbicide use and still effectively manage weed populations.
What inspired your work?
With our population growing, the global need for food production is also increasing. Minimising the cost of food will help feed the next billion people.
What’s your focus for the next 3 months?
We are focusing on commercialising the software while also looking for the right partners.
