What is your venture?
My venture is the organisation called FroGGs which is an acronym for Friends of Geraldton Gardens Inc. and I think the title explains its direction. It is a not for profit organisation looking towards the creation of a Botanical Garden tourist Mecca in the CBD of Geraldton. We will target local and overseas tourists.
What’s inspired your work?
Probably mainly the lack of any showcase garden or rooms of native flora, within easy access of the CBD of the city. I think a botanical garden of local flora showcasing the amazing and unique wildflowers of the Mid West ticks all the boxes of events, market opportunity, passion and peace.
What’s your focus for the next 3 months?
Practically? Secure funding. Also to present the concept to the councillors of the City of Greater Geraldton for their approval.
