On the evening of the 24th we were joined by web developers, ISPs, hardware and networking providers, app and software developers and digital consultants for the What’s App with You and Digital Net-Working Goodness events. The event allowed attendees the unique opportunity to share ideas about how digital industries can be supported, and hear the latest news and opportunities for those working online.
The event began with an opportunity for guests to introduce themselves to each other followed by a chance to grab a drink and something to eat from our selection from Culinary HQ. After taking their seats, attendees spoke to Spacecubed‘s Brodie McCulloch through Googlechat about___ followed by a presentation by EverythingGeraldton‘s Jason Smith who provided insights into StartupWeekend and the scene in Perth. After a short break ETek Geraldton then took to the stage, sharing news of their their upcoming esports events followed by Emergence Creative‘s Mat Lewis who, from __ provided a preview of their 2014 festival for digital and creative industries.
6 local gurus; Andrew Outhwaite from Pollinators, Mark Canny from CGG, Gemma Moore from Shout Consulting and Jason Smith from Everything Geraldton then shared their top apps that make their lives and businesses better, see below for a links to all of the apps mentioned.
