What is your venture?
Euphorium is the space between the artist and the community. Euphorium is a new Venture by Julian Canny and Emma Howell, previous owners of respective companies The Comedy Emporium and Its All Sorted. Euphorium, aims to transform the way performance “works” are developed and communities are engaged within regional areas. We endeavour to bring practicality, laughter and a smidgen of invincibility beyond the arts industry and to our communities – supporting artists of all shapes and forms to bring to light their works and investing in building a cultural identity we can all have a hand in creating.
What inspired your work?
Emma and Julian have been working with people for four years in different areas; Community and Arts Producing. Both are similar in that they deal with cultural identify.
What’s your focus for the next 3 months?
We are in start up mode and trying to get off the ground. Oh and running a massive festival, Funtavia – 27 Fringe shows and working on developing the state’s first regional independent theatre space at CreativeHub.
