It’s All Sorted – Venture Profile

What is your venture?

I run a small community focused social enterprise ‘It’s All Sorted’, which provides event and project- related services to the Mid West community, as long as it relates to our passion of “doing and feeling good”. We do everything from just setting up and packing down, or staffing, or consultation or coordination – or the whole kit and caboodle. We can do this for parties, celebrations, weddings, conferences, fundraisers, gala dinners or dances – anything you can think of. The result of all this work, is that we create MORE events to liven up the community – and we send the profits straight back into worthy local causes.

To date we have donated more than $56,000 back 🙂

2. What’s inspired your work?

Before I left high school I was already a rampant fundraiser and organiser. I loved to organise anything I could get my hands on. This sort of spiralled out of control and turned into something I couldn’t handle as just ‘Emma Howell’ who worked at the Library. I needed a banner for everything to come under, where people could go to find us. So It’s All Sorted was born and from there expanded and adapted according to demand.

 3. What’s your focus for the next 3 months?

We have a few weddings coming up – we are running a number of bar services, there are a number of comedy shows coming up in Geraldton and throughout the state (we produce and manage all of these), we are trying to make the new Comedy Emporium home livable and we are coordinating the WA Day Festival for the WA Museum Geraldton. And then we will get started on planning the 2016 Christmas Bonanza pop up department store fundraiser for Variety WA Midwest Geraldton.

So the focus is really figuring out how to relax and take a break amongst all of this!

4. How can people connect or contribute to your venture’s success?

Engage our services so that we can use your payments to contribute back to the community through our Community Events and regular donations. Spread the word about how awesome we are. Donate to the upcoming Community Events specifically so they can be more awesome than normal.
